1st         Justice and Peace.  (December World Aids Day/Prisoners for Peace Day)
2nd        Victims of Human Trafficking and modern slavery (December International Day for the abolition of Slavery)

3rd           Future Ministry, here in Christchurch and also at Stamford URC (December International Day of Disabled Persons)
4th           The Sick, their families, friends and carers.  Medical Ethics and Medical Research.   People suffering from long term and chronic illness.  World Braille Day (January)
5th           Hospitality and Welcome.  Refugees; an end to racial injustice.
6th            URC Commitment for Life & All We Can - Methodist Relief and Development. (December St Nicholas Day)
7th           Visitors to Christchurch & All who use our premises.  (January Covenant (Sunday)
8th           The Elderly.  People who are finding life more difficult.  People who live alone.  People living in Care homes and in supported living.  Carers
9th           Victims of violence and abuse.
10th         All prisoners.  Prison Visitors.       
11th         The Schools Ministry.
12th         Peacemakers and Peace enablers.  Wisdom and integrity for World Leaders
13th         Parents worried about the cost of providing gifts and food for their children this Christmas.
14th         Basic health education in developing countries, saving lives.
15th         The Street Pastors, Grantham SKDC.
16th         Leaders of URC and Methodist Churches.
17th         Women who are still being treated as second class citizens.  Respect for human dignity.
18th         Brexit.
19th         Grantham Hospital, The Hospice, Doctors, Nurses, Health workers, Carers, wisdom re. wise use of scarce NHS resources.  Social Workers, The Emergency Services.              
20th         Messy Church and Bright Sparks
21st         Water: people who don't have clean drinking water or access to a toilet.  Water Aid
22nd        All who are homeless, hungry or thirsty.  The Passage, The Food Bank, Christians against poverty.
23rd         Children and young people who are 'in care'. Children without families, Foster families,Young carers, Action for Children, Unicef - working for every child in danger.  Christian Aid.  Save the Children.
24th         The Bereaved and all who mourn.
25th         Thank God for Jesus.  pray for the lonely and all who feel unloved.
26th         ChristChurch Grantham, our members, friends and families, reaching out into the community in Jesus name.      
27th         January Holocaust Memorial Day 
28th         The World Church - that we can truly reflect the love of God in His world.
29th         People who are no longer able to attend church services and events.
30th         Remembering all who work tirelessly to keep our church running smoothly and giving thanks for men and women who worked and maintained worship and outreach in Castlegate and Finkin Street
31st          People and families suffering as a result of addictions.
